Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP)
Pipe Surgeons’ cured in place pipe lining (CIPP) is the most cost-effective and fastest way to repair damaged pipelines. CIPP is a trenchless pipe lining process, allowing pipes to be fixed with minimal destruction and time spent. We recommend this method quite often and make sure our plumbers and technicians are trained to employ the techniques efficiently to satisfy our customers.
How Cured-in-Place Pipe Lining (CIPP) Works
First, a pipeline inspection is conducted to determine the condition of the pipe in question and take accurate measurements of the interior. The pipe is cleaned with a high-pressure water hose that removes clogs and readies the pipe for the liner to be inserted. The liner is heated and pulled through the pipe, and once it is in place, the pipeline is cooled and the ends are trimmed. A final inspection is carried out to ensure that the rehabilitated line is serviceable. The result is a smooth, efficient pipe with a 50-year life expectancy.
Unlike traditional methods that require several days to replace or fix a pipe, CIPP is completed within a few hours, reducing labor and excavation costs as well as saving time. CIPP has proven to be a fast, cost-effective, and durable method that allows it to take the place of physical pipes that have deteriorated and can be used to fill gaps in pipeline systems, and we rely on this technique to provide our customers with the best solution for any of their pipe problems.
